Once your child is enrolled into the Baby Bonus Scheme and has successfully opened the Child Development Account (CDA) and Child Savings Account (CSA), you will receive the Baby Bonus cash gift within 7 to 10 working days. For subsequent cash gift payments payable every 6 months till your child is 6.5 years old, you will receive an SMS or email informing you of the expected payment date around 3 to 5 working days before the scheduled payment.

You will receive the CDA First Step grant in your child's CDA within 2 weeks (excluding public holidays) after the CDA is opened. You do not need to put in any deposit before receiving CDA First Step.

For the Government co-matching contributions of the deposits you made into the CDA (up to your child’s eligible cap), they will be credited into your child’s CDA within 2 weeks (excluding public holidays) of your deposit.
