Please check that your nominated account holder has logged in to the Child Development Account (CDA) bank’s portal to complete the account opening process. He/she would have received an email with the steps to open the CDA and Child Savings Account (CSA) at the bank.

If you have selected UOB, and the nominated CDA trustee and CSA joint account holder is a Singapore Citizen with overseas address or foreigner, a Letter of Authorisation (LOA) would have been issued by LifeSG to him/her to visit a UOB branch in person to complete the process.

Upon successful account opening, the CSA joint account holder and CDA trustee will be notified by the bank. Please approach your CDA bank if you have further queries on the status of account opening.
