From 1 Jul 2024, all parents can only apply for Baby Bonus Scheme at LifeSG through:

• Bundled service together with child’s birth registration (https://www.life.gov.sg/services/birth-registration)

• Direct application for child whose birth has already been registered (https://www.life.gov.sg/services/baby-bonus)

For bank selection:

• DBS/POSB and OCBC
  You must be their existing customer with an active account to open the CDA through their online banking portal or mobile app.

• UOB
  You don't need to be an existing customer with an active account. However, as a foreigner, you must visit a UOB branch in person with the Letter of Authorisation (LOA) issued by LifeSG to complete the process.

You will be notified by the bank when the CDA is opened.
