Will MOM provide support for the Dormitory Transition Scheme (DTS)?
As the DTS provides broader health protection to the general public, we will provide financial support to partially defray the cost of retrofitting existing buildings to meet new standards. This is in recognition that the Government usually does not require retrospective retrofitting to existing buildings to meet new infrastructure standards.
You will still be required to co-pay as you would also derive benefits from improved public health resilience and business continuity.
More details on the support provided will be shared during the industry briefing.
