Do I need to notify MOM if I implement cost-saving measures?
With effect from 1 August 2022, MOM has ceased the cost-saving notification requirement.
Employers who wish to implement cost-saving measures should refer to the Tripartite Advisory on Managing Excess Manpower and Responsible Retrenchment, and engage unions and employees before implementing such measures.
