My employee or former employee is waiting in Singapore for the outcome of a statutory claim. What are my obligations?
As an employer or former employer, you’re obligated to provide upkeep, maintenance and acceptable accommodation for any worker who is waiting for a claim.
This could include salary arrears under the Employment Act, or work injury compensation under WICA.
You are free from the obligation once the claim has been resolved and payment has been made.
