If your employee was injured in a work accident resulting in outpatient, hospitalisation leave or light duty, as an employer, you need to submit an incident report within 10 days of the first notice of accident.

You should count the calendar days of medical leave, even if the medical leave period extends over any public holiday, rest day or non-working day. When filing the incident report, use the total number of days of medical leave granted as a result of the single work-related accident.
