Which parts of the maternity leave are Government-funded?
| Children | The Government will pay |
| 1st and 2nd child | Up to $20,000 (including CPF contributions) per child order for the last 8 weeks. |
| 3rd and subsequent children | Up to $40,000 (including CPF contributions) per child order for the full 16 weeks. |
- As an employer, you may claim reimbursement subsequently from the Government, for the amount of Government-Paid Maternity Leave taken.
- For the 1st and 2nd children, Government reimbursement is applicable only after you have paid for 8 weeks of maternity leave.
