I'm not a Singapore citizen. Am I entitled to childcare leave?
Childcare leave lets working parents care for and spend time with their children.
As a foreigner or permanent resident, you are eligible for childcare leave as long as you meet the eligibility criteria.
If you are not entitled to statutory childcare leave, check with your employer on whether they provide company-paid childcare leave. Employers are encouraged to adopt family-friendly measures such as childcare leave to allow employees to balance their family and work commitments. This will in turn help them to contribute more effectively at work.
