Can my company be exempted from buying PCP if I have bought an outpatient care insurance with specialist coverage for my workers?
The PCP is mandatory for all eligible new work pass applicants, renewals and workers who change employers.
If your existing workers require PCP, you can continue their current healthcare plans or arrangements. However, you must buy the PCP for them, even if their work passes are due for renewal after that date.
You are encouraged to review your workers’ medical care coverage and consider buying additional medical benefits beyond the mandated requirements, according to your company’s internal policy.
