Common reasons for unsuccessful GIRO deductions and how to avoid them

Your GIRO deduction limit is set too low.	Check your monthly levy bill to ensure that your outstanding amount due does not exceed the deduction limit set. You can also consider setting a higher limit above what is required for your monthly payment. This is in case of unforeseen increases such as changes in levy rates or penalty charges incurred.
You set an end date for your GIRO arrangement.	Avoid setting an end or expiry date for your GIRO arrangement. If you indicate an end date but later need to use the GIRO arrangement beyond this date, you cannot amend it. You will need to reapply.
