Do existing crane operators need to attend a specialised training course to operate mini cranes?
If you are a registered mobile or crawler crane operator, you can operate mini cranes of the type stipulated in your certificate of registration without the need to attend the specialised training course.
As with all equipment used at workplaces, operators of mini cranes will need to successfully complete brand specific familiarisation training after attending the specialised training course before operating these cranes at workplaces.
