Why does MOM need to obtain mobile numbers of foreign workers?

The mobile numbers of the foreign workers are needed so that:

  • Our work pass holders are informed of matters related to their employment in Singapore.
  • MOM, or other government agencies, will be able to contact you during times of emergency, e.g. a sudden infectious disease outbreak in Singapore.
