When will my GIRO for levy payment take effect after my GIRO application is approved?

You will receive an email from MOM informing you of the approval and first GIRO deduction date. If the first GIRO deduction is not in time for your levy payment due date, you need to pay using PayNow QR.

You may receive a notification from your bank that your GIRO is approved but your GIRO deduction will only start on the date stated in the email approval from MOM.
