Should noise monitoring encompass the noisy processes conducted by sub-contractors within my workplace?
If you are the occupier of the workplace, your workplace noise monitoring must include the noisy processes conducted by sub-contractors in your workplace.
If the noise monitoring reveals that the sub-contractors at your workplace are exposed to excessive noise, you must inform the sub-contractors and their employer so that the exposed workers can be sent for audiometric examinations.
