Do lorry crane operators need to go for medical examinations?
No. Lorry crane (also known as lorry loaders) operators are not required to go for mandatory medical examinations under the WSH (Operation of Cranes) Regulations.
However, we strongly encourage you to go for periodic medical checks for early detection and proper management of chronic ill health. This is because the health of any crane operator is also critical in ensuring the safe use of cranes.
