What should we expect if my company is subjected to additional scrutiny?
MOM will closely examine your EP and S Pass applications and ask additional questions to determine if you have practised fair consideration.
The Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP) will engage you and if necessary, work with you to ensure that you have fair consideration practices in place.
You should work closely with TAFEP to develop and implement plans to strengthen your company's HR practices. You can consider the following:
- Work with HR consultants on staff development and retention, as well as work with the career services centres of the Institutes of Higher Learning.
- Work with WSG or e2i, and tap on their programmes to hire and train experienced professionals.
During this period, TAFEP will assess your company's efforts in improving your fair consideration practices. Your work pass privileges may be curtailed if we do not have your company's full cooperation and responsiveness.
