If I change jobs, does the balance of my childcare leave carry over with me?
If you leave your job, your unused childcare leave does not carry over to your new company.
However, you’ll be eligible for childcare leave once you have worked at the new company for more than 3 months.
For employees who have worked for less than 3 months, employers are still encouraged to be supportive and exercise flexibility in granting leave for them to take care of their children.
