Why has the S Pass qualifying salary been raised over the years?
As there is a larger adjustment for the S Pass compared to that for EP, MOM is phasing in the changes over three steps to allow businesses reasonable time to make adjustments.
The first two steps were taken on 1 September 2022 and 1 September 2023 for new S Pass applications, and the remaining step was taken on 1 September 2025.
