What should I do if I can’t find my candidate’s qualification in the Self-Assessment Tool (SAT) or the work pass application form?
Degree-equivalent qualifications that meet certain criteria will earn points under C2 criterion. These qualifications are found in the SAT and work pass application form.
If you cannot locate your candidate’s qualification on the list, you should check if the name of your declared institution is:
- Correctly translated from another language and has no spelling errors.
- The most recent name, especially if the institution has undergone a name change.
Otherwise, you may obtain a verification proof from a Background Screening Company (BSC) on the MOM website confirming your candidate’s qualifications is authentic and accredited; and submit the verification proof to MOM. MOM will determine, with reference to international recognition bodies such as the UK National Information Centre for recognition and evaluation of international qualifications and skills (UK ENIC) if the qualification is UK-degree equivalent, and assessed to be accepted for C2 points.
This information is sourced from MOM.
