Based on the current Additional Withdrawal Limits (AWLs) for MediSave use and the current Standard IP premiums across insurers (as of Apr 2024), you can use MediSave to fully pay for the Standard IP premiums until age next birthday 74.

As the Standard IP is a private product that provides additional coverage at the Ward B1 or equivalent level, premiums are higher than MediShield Life premiums. As such, there will still be some cash outlay for older policyholders.
