Developmental conditions such as Down Syndrome and Autism alone do not have Additional Premiums imposed on them. However, if an individual with these conditions also presents with serious pre-existing medical complications, such as heart or kidney disease, which elevate the risk of claims, MediShield Life will apply Additional Premiums based on these medical conditions.
