I have received a letter from CPF Board/private insurer stating that “The Government is unable to determine the Insured’s eligibility for Premium Subsidies due to incomplete information” and I am currently residing overseas. What information should I provide to review my eligibility for Premium Subsidies?

To be eligible for Premium Subsidies, all of the following criteria must be fulfilled:

  • Household average monthly income per person of $3,600 and below

  • Living in residences with an Annual Value of $31,000 and below

  • Individuals who own multiple properties will not be eligible

Should you wish to proceed with the review, please ensure that your NRIC address is updated to your overseas residential address. As you are currently residing overseas, the Government will not be able to automatically determine your eligibility without the relevant supporting documents. In general, the following contains the list of documents required to facilitate the review based on your living and financial circumstances abroad:

  • Overseas identification documents

  • Declaration of household member staying at the overseas address

  • Latest pay slips (for the past 12 months)

  • Property tax document, property valuation document OR Sales and Purchase Agreement (dated not more than 5 years ago) if you own your place of residence OR a tenancy agreement (valid for the next 6 months) if you are renting your place of residence

  • Declaration of number of properties owned

If you would like to proceed with the review, please submit your request through this online form and we will advise if any further information/documents are required. Alternatively, you may contact us at 1800-222-3399 if calling from Singapore / +65 6222 3399 if calling from overseas.
