The medical institution will ask if you wish to make a claim and request for your authorisation to submit the claim to MediShield Life and your Integrated Shield Plan insurer (if any) on your behalf. If a payout is due, it will be made to the medical institution directly to offset your bill. The remaining balance can be paid by MediSave and/or cash.
