The MediShield Life Council has assessed the  scope of benefits and new areas to be covered by MediShield Life, taking in proposals from various stakeholders. Treatments which are recommended for MediShield Life coverage have been prioritised based on suitability for risk-pooling, clinical- and cost-effectiveness, having significant affordability gaps, and/or potential to encourage patients to receive care in appropriate settings.
