Which group of seniors are suitable for the CCA?

CCAs cater to healthier seniors, as well as those with some care needs. Healthier seniors can be supported to keep well and stay active for as long as they can. As care needs increase, residents will not need to struggle with navigating care options as the appointed CCA operator will take care of their needs where possible, and facilitate their access to other care services as needed.

However, seniors who have a high level of care or nursing needs, or who have been diagnosed with severe mental illness and/or loss of mental capacity that require intensive support, may not be suitably cared for within the CCA.
