What is the range of active ageing programmes available at an Active Ageing Centre (AAC)?
As a drop-in social recreational space for Seniors, AACs conduct a range of programmes across physical, cognitive, social, learning and volunteerism domains.
For the physical domain, AACs offer fitness and strengthening exercises such as Yoga, Qigong, and Zumba.
For the cognitive domain, Seniors can participate in mind-stimulating activities such as puzzles and mindfulness-related activities.
For the social domain, Seniors can enjoy communal meals and games such as Bingo and Rummy-O to widen their social circles.
For the learning domain, AACs offer arts & crafts workshop and talks for Seniors to pick up new knowledge.
For the volunteerism domain, AACs offer opportunities for Seniors to volunteer in delivering meals or packing of goodie bags for the less privileged.
