How are Long-Term Care (LTC) services made affordable for Singapore Citizens (SCs), Permanent Residents (PRs) and Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) Holders?

LTC services (such as those offered at Active Ageing Centres and Senior Care Centres) are either provided free or kept affordable through Government subsidies for Singapore Citizens (SCs) and Permanent Residents (PRs). Like many other countries, Singapore carefully considers the unique aspects of citizenship and differentiates the benefits that citizens, permanent residents, and foreigners receive. While LTVP holders are not eligible for subsidies, those in need may reach out to their service provider or the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) for financial assistance.

For more information on accessing LTC services, you may reach out to AIC at enquiries@aic.sg or 1800-650-6060.
