What are the COVID-19 vaccines recommended for children?

Children can receive one of the following vaccines:

Vaccine

Age

Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty

6 months to 4 years

Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty *

5 years to 11 years

Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty

12 years and above

Moderna/Spikevax **

6 months to 11 years

Moderna/Spikevax

12 years and above

Please note that current stocks of LP.8.1 vaccines for individuals aged 6 months to 11 years are expiring on the following dates.

*   Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty (5 years to 11 years) – will be available until 30 September 2026

** Moderna/Spikevax (6 months to 11 years) – will be available until 14 August 2026.

MOH/CDA will announce the availability of any updated COVID-19 vaccine when it is approved and recommended for use in Singapore.
