How much will my premiums be once the premium changes take effect, and how much would it increase by?
You may refer to the premium & subsidy table here for the premium schedule for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.
The extent of premium increases will vary across policyholders depending on age group. Information on your MediShield Life premium and applicable subsidies will be sent in writing to the payer of your premium about 1-2 months before your policy renewal date, by the Central Provident Fund Board or your Integrated Shield Plan (IP) insurer (if you are insured under an IP).
To help Singaporeans manage the premium increases, the Government will provide an additional $4.1 billion in premium support measures over the next three years. With this, more than nine in 10 Singaporeans will be able to more than offset their net increase in premiums for the next three years.
