If MOH gives approval for a licensee (e.g., outpatient medical clinic) who applies to provide a non-healthcare-related service (e.g., café) within the same premises, will there be safeguards to ensure patients are not misled?

The licensee is responsible for all services provided within the same premises.

The licensee should have overall control over the licensed premises to ensure compliance to this Act, particularly with regard to advertisements.

MOH has also imposed safeguards such as requiring the licensee to inform patients that certain parts of the services provided within the same premises are not licensed by MOH.
