Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners (TCMPs) holding a valid practising certificate fall under the definition of “specified person” under the HCSA. Hence, they do not need to state their PhD educational qualifications and credentials in their healthcare service advertising if these were approved by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Board as required under the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners (Practice, Conduct and Ethics) Regulations.
