Will ElderShield Supplements remain with the insurers?
The three private insurers (Singlife, Great Eastern Life & Income Insurance) will continue to administer ElderShield Supplements. The Government will administer CareShield Life and ElderShield, which provide basic protection against long-term care costs, while leaving the private insurers to innovate in the provision of CareShield Life/ElderShield Supplements which provide additional protection.
