ElderShield policyholders with active/in-force policies and who are not claiming from ElderShield as of 31 December 2022 are eligible for the rebate.

For policies paid for by the insured, or where premiums no longer need to be paid, the rebate will be credited to the insured’s MediSave to support the insured’s future healthcare needs.

For policies paid for by an individual who is not the insured (for example, a family member) via MediSave, the rebate will be credited to the payer’s MediSave to support future ElderShield premium payments.
