Are pets allowed at my home while I am under isolation order?

Pets are allowed to remain at home during your isolation period. However, as a precaution, you may wish to minimise direct contact with them as animals can be infected.

When possible, delegate pet care to other household members and keep pets away from personal items, beddings, and clothing, etc.

Good hygiene should be practised, including thorough handwashing after handling pets. Veterinary attention should be promptly sought for animals that are unwell.
