If a beneficiary objects to the Beneficiary Representative representing him / her, can the Beneficiary Representative still submit a claim?
No, the Public Trustee’s Office will reject the Beneficiary Representative’s claim where disputes have been observed or made known to our office.
All beneficiary must give consent. If the Beneficiary Representative is unable to obtain all beneficiary’s consent, he / she has to disclose it at point of application and will be redirected to submit a standard claim instead.
