What are the documents required to assess the adequacy of out of court compensation for motor accident?

The documents commonly required for the assessment of adequacy of out-of-court compensation for unrepresented victims are: 

a) A copy of the settlement agreement;

b) A copy of the medical report(s) detailing the injuries suffered as a result of the motor accident;

c) A copy of the identification document of the person entitled to the payment of the compensation;

d) The lodgement form for deduction of compensation monies from the insurer;

e) A copy of the bank passbook for making payment to the person entitled to the payment of the compensation;

f) Case Authorities as past case precedent detailing the personal injuries awarded of the relevant injuries sustained;

g) Explanation and justification of liability imposed (if any) with supporting evidence that may include police sketch plan and video footage (if available).
