What are the realised assets by Public Trustee in the administration of deceased's estate?
The Public Trustee can assist with the realisation of the following assets:
a) Deceased's monies in banks or other financial institutions in Singapore;
b) Deceased's shares which are listed on SGX. (The shares can be sold or transferred to one of the beneficiaries / claimant.);
c) Deceased's vehicle, except taxis. (The vehicle is to be transferred to one of the beneficiaries / claimant.);
d) Deceased's undrawn salary;
e) Compensation monies due to the deceased;
f) Deceased's items in a safe-deposit box; and
g) Deceased's monies from the Workfare Income Supplement Scheme.
