If the deceased person did not make a valid nomination for his / her CPF monies, the monies will be forwarded to the Public Trustee for distribution.

If the deceased person was a Muslim, the Public Trustee will distribute the monies in accordance with s112 of the Administration of Muslim Law Act 1966 according to the school of the Muslim law. The Certificate of Inheritance issued by the Syariah Court will list down the beneficiaries and their share of inheritance.
