Beneficiaries whose shares are renounced will go into the common pool for distribution to all non-renouncing beneficiaries. If a beneficiary wishes to renounce his/ her share of the deceased person's CPF money/ estate, he/ she must either:

(i) complete the hardcopy Form 18 (Renunciation and Indemnity Form), which can be downloaded from https://pto.mlaw.gov.sg/deceased-cpf-estate-monies/forms/. Submit the completed form together with a copy of his/ her NRIC, or

(ii) log in via his or her SingPass to complete Form 18 electronically. A copy of the renouncing beneficiary's NRIC is not required if Form 18 is executed electronically.
