Can the Public Trustee pay me the monies via cheque?
The Public Trustee does not issue any cheque payment. All payments made by the Public Trustee are done electronically via PayNow (account must be registered with your NRIC) or Direct Credit (fund transfer) to your designated account. For payment request via Direct Credit, the recipients are required to submit a copy of the front page of the bank passbook or online bank statement which reflects the name of the recipient and the bank account number.
