Does a Singapore law practice need to update Legal Services Regulatory Authority ("LSRA") regarding the particulars of Singapore solicitors?

Yes, if the Singapore solicitor is a Managing Partner/Director of the Singapore law practice. All other matters relating to Singapore solicitors are under the purview of the Supreme Court.

Singapore solicitors practising in Singapore law practices should continue to submit a Notice of Change of Particulars via eLitigation to update their particulars.

LSRA has a data interface with the Supreme Court, so the information submitted to the Supreme Court will be transmitted to LSRA, and our records and search function will be automatically updated after 1 or 2 working days.
