When must we submit a Certificate of Good Standing ("CoGS") for lawyer registration applications?
CoGS is required for:
New applications for all Certificates of Registration ("CoR");
Renewal applications for CoRs under section 36B of the Legal Profession Act; and
If there is a change in the lawyer's principal jurisdiction.
It may also be requested for CoR renewal applications.
