Can a Singapore solicitor practise foreign law?

Updated by MLAW
Singapore solicitors practising in a Singapore law practice and those registered under section 36E of the Legal Profession Act ("LPA") in a foreign law practice entity, may, if they have dual qualifications, also practise the foreign law that they are qualified to practise in. While they need not hold an additional Certificate of Registration under section 36C of the LPA from the Legal Services Regulatory Authority, it is the individual's responsibility to ensure that their practice of foreign law accords with all relevant foreign jurisdictions.
