How much insurance coverage must a foreign law practice ("FLP") entity licensed in Singapore maintain?
A licensed FLP entity must maintain, throughout the period while its licence is in force, insurance cover of at least SGD 2 million for each and every claim in respect of civil liability in connection with the provision of legal services in or from Singapore by the FLP.
The amount is the same regardless of the legal structure of the entity or the number of directors.
