Can a bankrupt have a bank account?

Bankrupts are only allowed to maintain 1 personal savings bank account with the consent of their trustee in bankruptcy.

Bankrupts are not allowed to open a joint bank account.

If you do not have an existing bank account and wish to open one, please contact your trustee in bankruptcy.
