What will happen after I attend the medical review?

Updated by MINDEF
The SAF Medical Officer (MO) will request a Disability Assessment Report (DAR) from your Specialist, and the hospital may contact you for an appointment with your Specialist for an assessment of your permanent disability (PD. This DAR will then be sent to MINDEF for our review. If no further clarifications are required, your case will be submitted to the SAF PD Board. This process may take a few months, depending on how long the hospital Specialist takes to complete the DAR and your appointment date with your specialist. If during the review, your MO deems that your condition has not yet stabilised, he will schedule another medical review for you in about 6 months' time.
