Servicemen who complete their full-time National Service on or after 01 April 2014 will be eligible for the NS HOusing, Medical and Education (HOME) Awards. $3,000 will be paid into their Post-Secondary Education Account. Commanders (3rd Sergeants and above) take up higher responsibilities and will receive an additional $500 top up to their Post-Secondary Education Account. An additional $2,000 will be paid into serviceman's CPF Medisave account. Full-time national servicemen who enlist on or after 1 Nov 2019 and complete their FTNS will receive an additional $1,000 that will be disbursed as credits. The credits can be accessed via the LifeSG mobile application and can be used at any online/physical merchant that accepts payment by "Scan and Pay" via PayNow UEN QR or NETS QR.
