Will I be notified if the supporting documents that I have submitted for deferment is insufficient?
If the documents submitted are insufficient, NSmen will be notified via SMS or email within 3 working days. The Human Resource Shared Services Centre (HRSSC) will contact NSmen via SMS, email or phone regarding the missing documents. Supporting documents are essential for the processing of the deferment request. NSmen will need to submit supporting documents within two working days from HRSSC's notification. If the supporting documents are not received by the third working day, the deferment application will be closed. NSmen will then have to submit a new application via ICT and Manning eService and submit the documents within the deadline.
