What is the difference between deferment and disruption?

Deferment for NSmen refers to obtaining approval for excuse from a scheduled ICT.   Disruption is granted to NSman who has been issued with an Exit Permit which is valid for 1 year or longer. You are required to apply for an Exit Permit if you are travelling and remaining overseas for a duration of 12 months or more.
